Cutting Back

Yesterday when I started editing my eyes where opened to something. Something I knew and had been saying for a long time.

It's like when you become a parent and everyone tells you that you're not going to get any sleep and it's going to be really hard. You already know these things. But the second you get that baby in your arms the reality of it hits you.

So, now that I've started to edit, I realize this is going to take a lot of time. From the get go I've really been concentrating on blogging. Why? Because I love it. I love going to your blogs and getting to know you. I love it when you guys come here and comment and let me know what you think.

But the fact remains that my book should really be my first priority. So I'm cutting back. I'll only be blogging three times a week.

I want to visit you guys as much as I can, but I have to cut back on that too . So if you don't see me every post, I'm sorry. But I will pop in and say hello!

I know you guys are awesome and will totally understand, because I seriously couldn't ask for better readers!

Thanks for sticking with me :D

Love it! And I'm with you. I just scheduled my posts through July, lined up a fantastic guest, and bought myself a month of writing. Go for it!

I totally understand. When I'm editing I have to fight to urge to see what bloggers have been saying. Like right now.

As with most things in life, I think trimming down and cutting back will only improve whatever it is your doing. Continued luck with the work on your book!

Your book should be more important and I think that's okay with us. :) Good luck editing!

Noooooo! But I get it, and the faster you edit, the faster we will get to see the finished product :)

Nice balance. Three days a week helps your readers too. :)

GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR BOOK!!!! Yes, I think that it is good to get away from blogging sometimes and focus on the more important things! And a book is sure a great thing! Hope editing goes well!

And you should try to go to the Harry Potter theme park sometime, it is pretty fun :)

Good for you. Blogging is a blast, but I'm beginning to realise I will never see a project through to completion if I keep up my current blogging activities.
And just like a newborn, while your book might take you away from the world for a little while, it's only a few months before you'll be back again. With a polished piece! Good luck with the editing.
