Wednesday Update #11

Despite what my word counter says I actually wrote 4,000 words this week. I had to delete 1,000 words that where leading nowhere. My weekly word count goal is 5,000 words, so I hope I can reach that today (yay!)

Thank you all so much for your comments on my post yesterday! I hadn't written for four days before that becasue of said scene that wasn't leading anywhere. Writing that snip-it got me wanting back in that world and your comments encouraged me to keep pressing forward.

Did I mention I have the best followers ever? Because I do!

In other news, I got the Liebster award, again!

Thanks Elizabeth Varden!

I really shouldn't be allowed to have this becasue I have over 200 followers, but I'm hording it anyway muah-hahahaha!

So what about you guys? What's inspired you this week?

I had a really brilliant editing session yesterday--I actually didn't make that many changes, but it sort of hit me that I love the way the WIP is turning out. So that was pretty amazing.

Congrats on your progress (and the Liebster award again)! Keep it up!

Haha, so something that has inspirned me this week actually has been the thrid campagin challenge. I was able to use one of my characters and create a story with him. It was awesome. I'm looking forward to writing more now!

Like the goals you set for yourself regarding your writing.

Stockpiled a number of blogs, so I can have some time to write and read.

Good luck on reaching your goal this week.

My inspiration was stopping at his really neat restaurant in the middle of no where Indiana. It's called GoodFellas and had that gangsta theme.

It was so cool

This post has inspired me today to push on and finish the first draft that's overdue (by my own self-imposed deadline!)

Your word count isn't what matters as much as you knowing that most of it is leading somewhere golden.
Congrats on the award! Hehehe.

Congrats on the award! I think even if you delete, you should be able to count the words. ;0)

Glad to hear that the muse is speaking to you:) For myself, I'd like just a little more freetime to actually get a chance to listen to my muse some more:)

Yay on the award! That is awesome. And I love the goal of 5K a week. Very good goal. I wrote 3K the other day but have to delete part of it. Going to do some more writing after checking in on a few blogs tho.

Yay! Sometimes writing something super random and not-a-blog-post makes things fall into place.

I really liked that challenge because I got to have the thrill of throwing down words and not caring about revising, back story or voice. Not that I'm having those problems at all with my current project. *cough* Nope.

I admire your wordcount! You're doing very well - it challenging to make time for it, isn't it? I have a hard time too. :)

You have some aggressive goals. More importantly, seems you got the determination to make it happen. Keep it up.

Woo hoo for the 4,000 words this week. Those 1,000 you deleted still count. My blogging buds are always supportive and inspiring, and I'm discovering that little writing competitions also motivate me, so I'm going to try NaNoWriMo for the first time. I hope I'm not biting off more than I can chew, but if I don't try it, I'll never know!
