A couple days ago the lovely Sara Bulla gave me the Versatile Blogger award. On top of that, a couple people gave me the Great Comments award. (thank you Golden Eagle and Leigh Covington!) So I'm going to combine the two by telling you five random facts about me, then passing the award on to awesome comment people. Sound good?
1. I can't ski. My dad was ski instructor and even ski patrol at one point in time, but I cannot ski. I end up on my butt all day long.
2. I grew up eating Kim-chi on a regular basis. (Thanks to a dad who lived in Korea for two years!) And yes, I can rock it with a pair of chopsticks.
3. Sometimes I watch trashy reality T.V. (who else hates Courtney on The Bachelor? Oh, and was I the only one disappointed when Allison didn't win ANTM all stars?)
4. I totally played t-ball when I was eight. It was awesome.
5. I really want to learn how to make awesome homemade doughnuts, anyone have a recipe?
Alright, on to the comment awesomeness --
Joanne from Whole Latte Life - Joanne is often the first to comment on my posts and it makes my day every. single. time.
Joshua form Vive Le Nerd - his blog is one of the best I've ever seen, go check it out, really.
Tara from Tara Tyler Talks - awesome poetry and fun stories, what more could you want?
Ava from Writability - seriously a great resource for writers, Ava talks about the coolest things :)
Mel from Adventure Writes - she is one fun gal who I really enjoy talking too!
Jenny from Jenny's imaginary world - I seriously consider this girl a BFF in the blogosphere.
David Kirk - I don't think I could find anyone more supportive to have my back through this difficult journey, you are beyond awesome David!
E. R. King at Get Busy Writing- The moment I found Emily's blog, it was true writer love.
David Powers King at the Cosmic Laire- everyone already knows how awesome he is!
Mark Noce and his stories - A seriously nice and generous person, doesn't get much better than that.

Wow, laying it all out like that makes me feel so loved! If I left anyone out, I'm sorry (really I am, I wish I could thank everyone)!! But I really think you all are awesome. No one who received an award should feel the need to pass them on, I just like you to know that I care :)

congrats on your award honey:) great facts about you, it's always good to know a bit more about a person.x
Congrats, and thanks for passing the Award my way too :) I'm going to hijack your Comments and leave a couple Random Facts right here ...
1. I grow amazing tomatoes every year. My garden is mostly a tomato patch, and my family enjoys a very large inventory of fresh tomatoes all summer long.
2. My cat is a humane society rescue. We adopted her after she spent nearly 5 months in a cage there and have had her with us for almost 7 years now.
This was fun, Happy Thursday to you!
Congrats on your award!
I love trashy tv! OK, I don't watch it often but it can be fun when I'm feeling down or something.
Congratulations on the awards. I'm off to check out lots of new blogs.
Thank you so much! And I agree with all the blogs you have suggested - I think I follow them all and they are AMAZING!!!
And I can't ski either.
I love trashy reality TV too. Except I like to watch it on The Soup to maximize the out of context flubbery! SO hiliarious.
Congrats on the awards. And you're totally making me all teary eyed. Bloggy BFF's I love it.
Congrats on the awards and thanks so much for including me! I really appreciate the thought. :)
Also, I've never had Kim-chi, but now I really want to eat some Asian food with chopsticks.
Thank you!! You are so sweet. :) I played t-ball too! And comp fast pitched softball! :D I can't ski either. Isn't it sad that I live in Utah and have never been skiing?
When you get a hand on that donut recipe... shoot it my way!!! :)
You grew up eating Kimchi? I started school in Seoul--my dad was career Navy (it was an accompanied tour way back then), and we lived there nearly 3 years.
Thanks so much for thinking of me!
Aww, thanks, Jen! I'm in writer love with your blog, too.
On a side note, I watch trash on TV sometimes, too. I can't help it. The drama is intoxicating.
Holy smokes! I just made dounghnuts yesterday for the first time! Make sure the fat isn't too hot or they will cook on the outside too fast but still be gooey in the middle. I tried to tell my kids that was the pudding inside, but they didn't buy it. Still good though.
Cheers!
thanks, woman! and you are so complimentary & sweet, you definitely deserve these awards!
i think they make the bachelor keep at least one annoying girl around to boost the ratings... i love amazing race, too =)
Thanks for the lovely shout out! Great factoids too:)
Thanks, girl! You're such a sweetie! Love ya forever! <3 <3 <3
I would like to thank J.A. for writing so well.
Congrats on the awards! Whoot-whoot! And I love your fun facts. Now I need to make sure I know all of these awesome blogs! What an awesome pass-along!
Congratulations on the versatile blogger and great comments award. I will definitely check out the blogs you suggested.
Congratulations. You've earned your blog awards. I follow many of the ones you listed.
Congrats on the blog awards, and just a couple of days ago you said you weren't feeling the love :)
Oh, and thanks for mine, too!
You seem to be getting the blog award love, because today I gave you a blog award as well! http://findingthewriteway.blogspot.com
I've never tried to ski before, but I would like to. Think it's too late for me? :D It's so fun to get to know you better!
HA! I can't ski and my dad was a ski instructor too!!! I really feel like he dropped the ball. Last time I tried to ski I ended up in the hospital having ACL surgery. Ya, I have no skills :)
Congratulations on your awards. I have not seen the great comments award. It is really cool. Did you change your blog name or address or anything? I just noticed that I am not a follower (i added my name again), but I know that I have been a follower of your blog for a while. Just curious. I love reading random facts about other bloggers.
Congrats on the awards and to all the lovely awardees. Home made doughnuts. Mmmmm.
Check out this link. I saw them being made on TV. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/foodanddrink/recipes/8782495/River-Cottage-Baking-recipes-buns-and-puddings.html
I follow a lot of those people, but not all of them, so will have to check it out!
I went snowboarding once and never again intend to snowboard or ski. Everyone just automatically figures I can/do because of my location, but nope. A broken finger and broken behind were enough for me to say no thank you. I'd rather sled. ;-p
These awards sure are a lot of work. I bet you can find a donut recipe on the internet.

I've got an awesome doughnut recipe. It's my sisters and it's amazing! Let me know if you want me to pass along the goods! :) So cool to know more about you!
I have never skiied in my life, but I'm pretty sure I'd be on my butt all day two. Something about keeping two skis, two poles, and two legs all coordinated just doesn't work for me, lol. Now snowboarding I can handle - and it's awesome :)
Your random facts were so much fun and I'm off to check out a bunch of the bloggers you introduced.
Your new blog is very nice, btw
Congrats to you and the other awardees! I LOVE skiing ... although I almost gave it up the first time I went after plowing some poor girl down. Hee
And my son played t-ball and loved it, too. :)
Hey, I had fun reading about you and about the people you passed the awards on too. Love it!
I skied once and never got off the bunny hill! Too much slippin, and slidin, and fallin for me! Besides, I despise being cold!
Congrats on the awards! As for doughnut recipes, does it have to be the traditional hole in the center ones?
Congratulations on your award. There are some new blogs for me to check out on that list, thank you :-)
I love Kim-chi. So funny. I don't know if I would have gone for it as a kid though. Sort of spicy!
Thanks for the Shout-Out! I can't ski either. Tried twice. Not a fan of ankle injuries.
You should check out my blog. It just might make your day. :)
Here you are. I like the new look. Made corrections so I get your blog.
I know you told me it was here, and I know it took me five days to get here, but I'm here now, and that's what's important. (Truth be told, life's been crappy lately.) Thank you for the lovely words.
