Imagine Dragons

It's been quite awhile since I've spoken about music and I know you all are just dying to see what my latest obsession is (ha!) Even though that may not be the case I couldn't contain myself from telling you about the Imagine Dragons.

Their album is one of the best I've heard in ages. Ages, I say! They don't just have one good song. Each song is different AND each song is good. It doesn't get better than that. Here is their first single from the album Continued Silence EP called "it's Time".  I love this video because speaks to me of their artistry -- for them it's all about the music.

Good no? Now go give the whole album a listen, you won't regret it!

Sometimes the best songs are like this ... their few instruments really showcase the art of the voices and song.

This is really good. My new obsession is Walk off the Earth - go give them a listen sometime. Also The Piano Guys. I can't get enough. Glad I added someone new :)

Music...music...I've heard of this before. Why is it familiar? When I'm in the car, it's usually something fast. Nickel Creek or the Avenue Q soundtrack. When I'm at work or when I'm writing, anything without words. Too distracting those damn lyrics.

I love it! I'm a big acoustic fan. This is a great share. Sometimes I spend more time listening to music on iTunes than doing anything I should. Thanks for sharing this. I hope to see you at dinner on the 16th at the Cheesy factory.
